In your journey to better yourself, there will be people who obstruct your efforts and downplay your gains as often as possible.
IT IS WHAT THEY DO.
What it is that YOU do is up to YOU, not them.
Whether it is fitness you are pursuing, mental wellness, or improving at work, they will be there. They will obstruct and destroy anything around. What you do with that negative energy is 100% in your control. Do you destroy? Or do you take that and build on it?
Take that negative energy, and unload at that gym. Can’t get to the gym? Go for a run. USE IT.
My favorite workout for this is the Hammer Strength Decline/ Incline one arm Press’. Pushing all of that crap away from me in that way is just awesome. Blasting destruction till I gas out.
