In short, this blog is for the college graduate who can’t find a career job; the college dropout; the under employed; and anyone else who want to be fit and in shape but can’t find the time. There’s a block of us who have little time to think about working out, but want to be healthier. This blog is for you.
In our everyday lives we face constant obstacles, and endless excuses to put our own fitness on the back burner. You work too much; or you have obligations that stress you out and take up your time, or you simply would rather play video games. Maybe you’re in a relationship, good or bad, and you just don’t have spare time. Petty excuses, all of them. The truth is, fitness isn’t a time intensive undertaking. In fact, when done right, it becomes an after thought. Fitness becomes a part of your routine, and the best part of your day. Even a weekly vacation.
That’s what this blog is all about.
No matter how strapped you are for cash, or how stressed out you are, there is always a way for you to be fit and stronger.
Share your stories with me and each other and tell us what you’re doing today for your own health.
We all deserve to be healthier. No matter how busy, no matter how stressed, we owe it to ourselves not to leave ourselves behind.
BUT who am I? I’m Travis, from Ohio, and I was going to college on the east coast for awhile (Connecticut and DC) for a major in International Relations and Public Administration. Loved NYC, and loved DC. Had an amazing time, but FinAid got the best of me and so I had to come back home. In my search of things to do with myself, I turned my hobby of weight lifting into a profession of sorts. People were asking me for advice on a regular basis. They wanted to better themselves, but needed someone they could trust to walk them through the journey. So, it wasn’t long before I got my Personal Trainer Certification from ISSA, and began working in gyms. I trained clients at FitWorks and YMCA, and allowed people to tag along my personal workouts at other gyms. Helping dozens of clients surpass their own expectations and reaching their goals, I could not complain one bit about it. I decided to start a blog to reach more people, with various backgrounds, from other parts of the country and the world. I’m new to this blog thing, but figured theres people who could benefit from help in finding a starting point: Where to find the time to work out.
So here I am, hoping that some of the information I provide here helps. Even if the help is modest.
